The isoTrax™ Soundproofing System Ceiling Package is identical to the standard soundproofing system but includes nearly double the amount of elastic pads and hex screws to allow for the weight of heavier ceilings.
The isoTRAX™ Soundproofing System works by combining several different soundproofing strategies into one easy to use package. Designed to be installed inside of a wall or ceiling, the isoTRAX™ kit contains 5 sound isolation rails, which are used to decouple or separate the drywall from the studs in your assembly. The kit also includes 18 visco elastic sound deadening pads, which help eliminate vibrational noise and further reduce the sound transmitted.
Quiet Barrier® MD soundproofing material (1/8 in. 1 lb./sqft.) 4'x8' sheet is a high density, non porous material that exhibits a non-resonant quality due to its flexible nature, and is one of our most popular soundproofing products. The Quiet Barrier® family products control noise by blocking the transmission of sound energy and damping vibrations caused by sound energy.

Quiet Batt® 50 installs with a tight friction fit between wood and metal studs to minimize sound and thermal energy transmission, and is a fine stand alone product or can be used in conjunction with a variety of our other soundproofing products.
