Difficulty Level - Very Easy Reinforced Aluminum Seam Tape is a 5 mil tape specially designed to seal seams between our aluminum or Mylar faced acoustic products, to achieve maximum results and attain a nice finished appearance. Reinforced Aluminum Seam Tape may be used to repair rips, tears and imperfections that may have occurred while installing our foil or Mylar faced soundproofing products. Reinforced Aluminum Seam Tape excels in demanding temperature and humidity applications and provides superior performance and durability over a wide range of environmental conditions. Reinforced Aluminum Seam Tape is heat and light reflective. This product is UL Classified and has been tested and approved to inhibit mold. The tape is 3 inches wide and 50 yards long. The adhesive is an all weather acrylic and has a continuous temperature range from -35ºF to 260ºF.

Very Durable — Reinforced Aluminum Seam Tape is tri-directionally reinforced with 2 x 3 squares per inch fiberglass scrim.

Hot and Cold Tolerant — The cold weather acrylic adhesive performs well over a wide temperature range. The continuous temperature range is -35ºF to 260ºF. Heat reflective.

Ease of installation — Reinforced Aluminum Seam Tape has an acrylic adhesive backing for an easy “peel and place” application. This product is hand tearable or if a more refined finished appearance is desired, it can be cut with scissors.

Flammability - Reinforced Aluminum Seam Tape is UL723 Listed.
