The Quiet Door™ Residential Door Soundproofing Kit is a four part kit that was designed specifically for metal doors, which are commonly used for entrances to condominiums, apartments and offices. This product is best used in applications that require low to moderate soundproofing from low to moderate noise levels and where aesthetics are important. The Quiet Door™ Residential Door Soundproofing Kit will treat standard 36 in. x 86 in. steel doors. The perimeter seal and sweeps in this kit may need to be cut to ensure a proper fit.

Cautions and Limitations
The Quiet Door™ line of perimeter seals and sweeps can be used on almost any door to reduce sound transfer and they can be used on almost any door type. Some older doors may not have enough mounting area. Please double check all measurements and dimensions.
Do not pull drop bar out of case unless disengaged from spring or damage will occur and void warranty.
The Quiet Door™ line of perimeter seals and sweeps may need to be trimmed to fit. When trimming our Adjustable or Automatic products, care should be taken to not cut internal mechanisms that could impact the functionality of the product.
Some pre-drilling is required.

Tools needed for mounting the Quiet Door™ Acoustic Panel: Level, Straight Edge, Tape Measure, Pencil or Marker
Tools needed for mounting the Quiet Door™ Adjustable Perimeter Seal and Automatic Door Sweep: Drill, #38 Drill Bit, Phillips Screwdriver, Hack Saw (for trimming)
Tools needed to apply the Acoustic Sealant: Caulk Gun
