1” thick Echo Absorber™ panels are our thinnest and most economical solution for high- and low-frequency sound reduction. With their low profile, they’re unobtrusive in small spaces and easy to install using our PL® Construction Adhesive.
Good for the Environment, Good for Your Health
Natural blend acoustic panels are made from 80% recycled cotton fiber and are VOC-free, mold- and mildew-resistant and Class A fire rated. They will not cause skin irritation when touched. Because of their density, they also have excellent thermal insulation properties and can actually make a room more comfortable, in addition to providing soundproofing against low-frequency noises.
Echo Absorber panels are sold by the sheet. 4’ by 4’ panels provide 16 square feet of coverage and can be cut or shaped to fit the dimensions of any room. 2’ by 4’ versions are also available in 1” and 2” thicknesses.
When installed properly, 1” Echo Absorber panels have a noise reduction coefficient of 0.65, which means they absorb 65% of sounds across the frequency spectrum. This makes our 1” panels a good choice for soundproofing an office, gymnasium or other space with a lot of ambient noise. Though less ideal for recording studios, they do provide some level of low-frequency sound reduction and will absorb many of the nuisance reverberations that can muddy a recording.

I really liked working with this stuff. It installed quick, wasn’t very messy, cutting it was a little harder than expected, but it works well so I’m not complaining. I would use this product again and again, and I’ve already started recommending it. Joshua Pierson
We bought a new fridge hoping it would be quiet. We have a small house and kitchen noise can be heard in the living room as well. The new fridge is better but there is a high pitch buzzing sound. We leveled the fridge but that did not help. Then we insulated the walls around the fridge with the 1″ x 4′ x 4′ Echo Absorber Acoustic Panel. Also put some long, narrow pieces along the floor at the front and each side. (used two of these panels, total) Left 1″ of space for air flow between the Acoustic Panel and the back of the fridge. It worked!! I am very happy! thanks for the phone help and prompt delivery. Carmen Carmen
